2024 Scholarship Opportunties

This year, the Illinois Agri-Women (IAW) organization is offering 5 scholarships for females studying agriculture. The Illinois Agri-Women (IAW) organization supports the agriculture industry, works for legislation to support and preserve family farms, communicates with other agriculture organizations, and strives to educate the public and promote agricultural awareness.

2024 Women Changing the Face of Agriculture Event Announcement

The 2024 Women Changing the Face of Agriculture career exploration event will be held at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL on March 1, 2024. Registration for the event will open January 1, 2024. This year’s event puts an emphasis on hands-on activities, career development workshops and entrepreneur opportunities.

WOMEN CHANGING THE FACE OF AGRICULTURE ANNOUNCES 2023 EVENT 

The 2023 Women Changing the Face of Agriculture career exploration event will be held in- person at Carl Sandburg College located in Galesburg, Illinois on March 3, 2023. ILLINOIS AGRI-WOMEN (IAW) ANNOUNCES 2022 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS  

Illinois Agri-Women and WCFA are happy to announce the winners of the 2022 scholarships. The Helen Henert scholarship is a $1,500 scholarship is awarded annually to an agriculture education major who will be finishing her degree within the next year. Three WCFA Agent of Change $1,000 scholarships were awarded to students who aspire to positively impact the agricultural industry through their careers.

WCFA and IAW ANNOUNCES 2021 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

This year, four scholarships for females studying agriculture are offered by the Illinois Agri-Women. The 2021 recipient of the $1500 IAW Helen Henert Agriculture Education Scholarship is Hannah Spangler. Gracie Murphy, Emma Freebairn and Abigayle Endress are each recipients of the WCFA Agent of Change Scholarship receiving $1000 each.

WCFA 2021 Online Curriculum: Announcement of Keynote Videos

The Women Changing the Face of Agriculture event committee is pleased to announce its keynote speakers for the 2021 virtual conference. In addition to these keynotes, the website will host online career exploration videos for you to explore and learn about the opportunities in the areas of agriculture and food production.
