WCFA 2021 Location Announcement

The Women Changing the Face of Agriculture planning committee is excited to announce that the 2021 WCFA event will be held at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL on March 5th, 2021!

Sandburg has revitalized it’s agricultural program with a 16-credit hour program, which could be completed in as little as two semesters culminating in an agriculture certificate. Sandburg has an agreement in place so that students can transfer into U of I’s College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES). Additionally, students at area high schools that offer Sandburg’s agriculture classes as dual credit can earn an ag certificate.

Ellen Burns, dean of career and technical education at Carl Sandburg College, has been a big part of bringing WCFA to Carl Sandburg College. We look forward to working with her and other faculty and staff at the college to showcase their school!
